Introducing the 50deeds Prepaid Credit Account: One Balance for Every Deed Order

If your firm sends us deeds every week, paying by card on each order adds up: more checkout steps, more receipts to match, and more line items for your bookkeeper to chase. Starting today, you can skip all of that with the Prepaid Credit Account, now available in the 50deeds.com Client Portal.

How it works

  1. Fund your account. Send a deposit by wire or ACH, or set up a recurring monthly deposit.
  2. Order as usual. Each order is paid from your credit balance the moment you place it. There's no card and no invoice.
  3. Track everything. See your balance and activity in the Client Portal, and download a monthly statement whenever you need one.

What your credit balance covers

  • Deed preparation and recording service fees
  • County recording and e-recording fees, transfer taxes, and other government charges we advance on your behalf

Orders are charged at the price in effect when you place them, the same as with card payments.

Why firms are switching

  • Faster ordering. Your team places orders without stopping to enter payment details.
  • Cleaner billing. One monthly statement shows every deposit and every order, so client billing is easy to reconcile.
  • Predictable budgeting. Fund a set amount each month and let orders draw it down.
  • No lock-in. Unused deposited funds are refundable on written request.

Who it's for

The Prepaid Credit Account is built for estate planning, trust, and real estate law firms, financial advisory practices, and other partners who send us a steady stream of deed transfers in any of the 50 states.
